My Story

Hello my name is Myra Collins, CEO and owner of For All Occasions Decorating and Design. My career in event planning and decorating began in 1994, long before knowing that I could live my life doing what I loved and making money doing it. My first job as a planner, designer, and decorator was my own wedding. What I considered to be the event of the year turned into the dream of a lifetime. I soon began helping to plan, coordinate, and decorate weddings, parties and other special events for Family, friends, and church members, By divine design, I am an event decorator and designer. But like many people my career was not moving in that direction. So after years of working as a case manager in a non for profit organization, I refined my hobbies in photography, holiday decorating and party planning. I am now building my future a Certified  event decorator/designer with the intent of leaving a legacy for my children and grandchildren.  In 2020 after suffering from multiple strokes, My daughter Essence Collins joined me in the business. like me she has a passion for design and is skilled in the area decorations and designs for children birthday parties with creative themes.  

 For All Occasions Decorating and Design was founded with the belief that every event should be a memorable experience. Our vision is to create unique and innovative events that exceed our clients' expectations and leave a lasting impression.
